Maintenance and care
After a RUN-IN PERIOD of several
hours, please check the chain tension
and readjust if necessary (Fig. 13).
Please check all parts for possible wear
and the screw connections for correct fit
every half-year (if used frequently, shorten
these intervals accordingly). Self-locking
nuts are difficult to turn and must be re-
placed after complete deinstallation!
In order to maintain the high safety level
specified in the design, worn or defec-
tive parts must be replaced immediately
with original PUKY spare parts. The ve-
hicle should not be used until it has been
repaired for safety reasons. Bent parts
should be replaced and not repaired.
Wear parts: Tyres, hose, chain, chain rings,
pedals, brake/brake caps, steering column.
Please check pneumatic tyres for correct
air pressure. The air pressure to be main-
tained is printed on the side areas of the tyres.
Similar to car tyres, vulcanised natural
rubber may cause staining in the tyre
contact area. Therefore, please protect
the contact area between the floor and
the tyres. Please be particularly care-
ful if you have flooring which has been
adhered with solvents such as carpets
and in particular PVC. The valve caps
must be tightened firmly and kept away
from children (risk of swallowing).
Grease the chain and the bearing positions
now and again.
The Go-Cart may not be cleaned using
a high pressure cleaner. Clean it using
a mild soap solution and then rub it dry
carefully using a soft cloth. Keep corro-
sive material (e.g. de-icing salt, seawater,
fertiliser) away from the Go-Cart. The Go-
Cart may not be stored in damp rooms.
Unpacking and scope of delivery
Do not use sharp objects to open
the packaging and to remove
the protective material. You may
inadvertently damage the paint-
work or parts of the Go-Cart.
• Remove all parts of the packaging.
• Remove the protective material.
• Check for completeness and if the delivery
is undamaged. If something is missing,
please contact your specialist retailer before
conducting any further work on the product.
