Dear customer,
Congratulations on your choice of a factory-assembled
model aircraft from the robbe Modellsport range. Many
thanks for placing your trust in us.
Very little work is required to prepare the model ready for fly-
ing. You can make it as easy as possible to operate your
new model safely by taking the trouble to read right through
these instructions attentively, together with the separate
information sheets, before you fly it for the first time.
All directions, such as "right-hand", are as seen from the
tail of the model, looking forward.

Open the battery compartment by pressing the cover and
sliding it downward.

Insert the cells, taking care to maintain correct polarity.
Close the battery compartment cover.

Power indicator
Switch the transmitter on: if both LEDs light up, it is ready
for use. If the red LED glows, cease operations and fit new
dry cells.
At some point in every flight you will notice a clear decline
in motor power; when that happens, land the model imme-
diately and recharge the flight battery.
Notes regarding dry cells:
Do not attempt to recharge dry cells, do not open them, and
do not dispose of them by throwing them in a fire. Remove
discharged cells from the transmitter as soon as possible,
as escaping electrolyte may damage or even ruin your
transmitter.
Take exhausted batteries to your local battery collection
point for proper disposal.
The transmitter and receiver can be changed to a different
frequency by fitting different pairs of crystals within the fre-
quency band - see crystal table. This is done by withdra-
wing the crystals from the sockets in the transmitter and
receiver and fitting new ones. The spot frequency of the
transmitter and receiver must be the same, or the system
will not work. Transmitter crystals bear the designation FM
Tx + frequency and channel number; receiver crystals the
designation FM Rx + frequency and channel number. Be
sure to use only genuine robbe crystals. See the main
robbe catalogue for Order Numbers.

Withdraw the crystal holder from the transmitter, and fit the
replacement crystal "I".
Remove the receiver from the model, taking care not to
damage the flexible wire aerial. Withdraw the receiver
crystal "Q", and fit the replacement crystal.
Place the receiver in its original position in the fuselage.
Crystals do not have a "correct polarity".

Connect the flight battery to the charge lead.
Plug the battery charger into a mains socket; the charge
process starts automatically.
The time for a full charge is around five hours.
When the charge period is over, disconnect the battery from
the charger, and unplug the charger from the mains socket.
Safety notes:
The battery charger and the flight pack must not be placed
on an inflammable surface when charging is in progress,
and should not be left unsupervised. Protect the charger
from damp.
Don't leave the charger or battery in direct sunshine, and do
not cover the charger (ventilation).
Do not attempt to recharge a battery which is hot to the
touch. Allow the pack to cool down naturally to ambient
temperature first.
The charger should only be used for the rechargeable bat-
tery supplied in the set.

Connect the pre-formed pushrod to the elevator horn, then
install the tailplane and the cover.

Remove the backing paper from the strip of adhesive tape.
Place the wing panel in position, check that there are no
gaps, but do not press it down.
Check that the wing panels are not offset relative to each
other.
Press the wing panel down to stick it to the tape.
Remove the backing paper from the strips of adhesive tape
attached to the top wing joiner.
Place the joiner on the wings in the marked position, and
press it into place.

Place the wing centrally in the wing saddle, and fit a rubber
band between the dowels on each side of the central fairing
to secure it.
