always be switched off : wounding danger !.
Unscrew the fixing screws (2) and take the cover away (1) then put the belt (3)into one of the two races on the pulley. If the belt is into the race (4) : fast
speed , if the belt is in the race (5) : low speed.
After having selected the speed you may need , please re-assemble the cover (1) taking care to insert it as shown in picture 14 , i.e. with the left-hand
side ( near the engine) on the fixing surface and the right-hand side ( near the handlebar) below it. The wrong fixing can cause some damages due to
the friction with the transmission belts ! . Attention ! Never use the tiller if the cover is not correctly assembled !.

MAINTENANCE
SERVICING FOR THE HOE TILLERS Clean the tiller hubs, the tiller-shaft and the cutting hoe parts making sure they are free from soil residues, grass,
iron wires, etc. etc.
MAINTENANCE ENGINE (see engine manual) Attention - The motor-cultivator is delivered without oil in engine. Replenish tank until oil overflows.
Capacity O.500 kg approx. Use oil type MULTIGRADE viscosity to be 10 - 40 W.
OIL REPLACEMENT (Fig. 16) : generally speaking you should replace the oil every 100 hours work ( viscosity SAE oil 80) . Please operate as follows:
unscrew the level oil caps (1) and the breather one (2). Incline the unit up to obtain the complete casing emptying . Put the unit back to the horizontal
position , screw the cap again (1) and put about 1.1 lt. Oil into the breather hole. (2) then screw it again as well .
To verify the oil level : put the unit in order to have the engine in horizontal position . Unscrew the cap (1) and check the oil to reach a lower level than
the hole . In case is needed, please fill it in.

GARAGING AND SCHEDULED MAINTENANCE
good machine working on safety conditions. Leave the machine to cool before garaging anyhow don't room it if the tank contains still contains some fuel
as the vapours could reach some blazes or sparks. To lower the fire danger , keep the engine , the silencer and the fuel area free from leaves , grass or
greasy substances.
