Inflating with the High-Pressure Hose and Adapters
The high-pressure hose can be used with the provided adapters to inflate a variety of items
(Fig. 5).
Installing/Removing Adapters (Fig .6)
1. Remove the battery pack from the dual function inflator or remove the 12V d.c. vehicle
connector from your vehicle's 12V d.c. accessory socket.
2. Raise the air-chuck clamp.
3. Insert the adapter into the chuck until it stops.
4. Clamp the air chuck onto the adapter by pressing the air chuck clamp down until it stops or
is parallel to the high-pressure hose.
5. To remove the adapter: Raise the air-chuck clamp and remove the adapter from the air
chuck.

Adapter Functions
The tapered adapter can be used on smaller air valves to inflate items such as floats and
children's toys.
The sports needle can be used to inflate sports balls or any other item that requires a sports
needle.
The Presta valve adapter can be used for Presta valve stems. To use the Presta Valve
Adapter (Fig. 7 and Fig. 8):
1. Loosen the Presta valve locking nut (Fig.7).
2. Thread the Presta valve adapter onto the Presta valve stem of the tire with the larger, open
end toward the wheel (Fig.8).
3. Clamp the end of the air chuck onto the Presta valve adapter by pressing the air chuck
clamp down until it locks into place (Fig.8).

Pressure Mode" in this manual for using the dual function inflator to start inflation.
