Problem
No flame or very low flame
Burner partially ignited
Burn back i.e. ignition under the
burner cap
Maintenance
• A normal flame is blue and may have orange tips. If the flame is yellow adjust the ventilation holes
• If the flame does not turn blue it could be that the venturi tube has an obstruction, or the jet is not securely fitted. The
Gas Cobb is fitted with a 0.57mm jet. If the jet gets blocked, do not try to clean the blockage. It must be replaced with
the appropriate jet.
• To replace the jet, unscrew the jet and screw in the appropriate jet
• Be sure not to over tighten the jet
• Fitting the new seal – carefully remove the old seal from its seat ensuring not to damage the seat. Before inserting the
new seal ensure that the seal is clean and free of foreign objects.
• Problem regulator – the regulator is an integral part of the Cobb. Do not replace this unit. Send your Cobb to your Cobb
agent for replacement of the regulator.
