• S tep on the scale with bare feet and make sure you are standing still on the stainless steel electrodes.
• Remain standing on the scale; now the body fat and body water analysis is performed. This can take a
few seconds.
Important: There may be no contact between feet, legs, calves and thighs. Otherwise the measurement
will not be performed correctly.
The following measurements are now shown in succession::
1. Weight in kg with interpretation
2. Body fat in % with interpretation
3. Body water in % with interpretation
4. Muscle percentage in % with interpretation
5. Bone mass in kg
The function button that is lit up indicates the measured value. You can press any function button to dis-
play the results more quickly or individually.
Interpretation
The weight, body fat, body water values are interpreted with a coloured band of light. If the values are low,
this is yellow. If the band of light is green, the values are normal. If the indication is red, the values are re-
latively high.
Weight:
Your weight is compared with the BMI (Body Mass Index). It is calculated using the following formula:
BMI = Weight in kg / (height in m)² .
Man/Woman ≥ 20 years
yellow
green
Underweight Normalweight
<18,5
18,5–25
Note that with very muscular physiques (body builders), the BMI interpretation will show overweight. The
reason for this is that no account is taken of well above average muscle mass in the BMI formula.
