Use the tool with the additional handles provided with it. Loss of control may result in personal injury
of the operator.
Do not change the direction of rotation of the spindle when the spindle is in motion. Otherwise, the
power tool may become damaged.
ADDITIONAL RULES FOR SAFE WORK WITH THE DRILL/DRIVER
Use only the recommended battery and charger.
Always keep the battery away from a source of fire. Do not leave the battery for extended periods in
hot places (places exposed to direct sunlight, near radiators, or any other places where the temperature

exceeds 50
C).
The battery charging time may not exceed 8 hours; otherwise, the battery may become damaged.
Avoid charging the battery at temperatures below 0
The charger supplied with the drill/driver is intended to be used only with this product. Do not use it for
any other purposes.
Do not insert any metal objects into the charger.
Do not change the direction of rotation of the spindle when the spindle is in motion. Otherwise, the drill/
driver may become damaged.
Clean the drill/driver with a soft, dry cloth. Never use any detergents or alcohol.
Before cleaning the charger, disconnect it from the power supply.
If you intend to charge more than one battery, make a 30-minute break before you start charging the
next one.
Batteries may be charged only if they are discharged.
Never charge batteries after using the drill/driver for only a short time.
SPECIAL SAFETY CONDITIONS FOR THE CHARGER
Keep this instruction. It contains important safety and operation instructions for the charger.
Before using the charger, make sure to read all the relevant information contained in this instruction, as
well as the labels on the charger and on the product for which the charger is intended.
In order to reduce the risk of a possible injury, use the charger only for charging Li-Ion batteries. Batteries
of other types could explode, thus causing injury or damage to property.
The charger may not be exposed to moisture or water.
Use of connectors that are not recommended or sold by the charger's manufacturer leads to a risk of fire,
injury, or electrical shock.
Make sure that the power cord may not be stepped on, is lot located in a passage, and is not exposed to
other risks (e.g. excessive pulling forces).
An extension cord should be used only when absolutely necessary. Use of improper extension cords
leads to the risk of a fire or electrical shock. If an extension cord must be used, first make sure that:
- the extension cord's socket matches the pins of the original power cord of the charger; and
- the extension cord is in a good technical condition.
Never use the charger if its cord or plug is defective. The defect must be repaired by a qualified person.
Do not use a charger that has been hit with high force, dropped, or damaged in any other way. Have the
charger checked and, if necessary, repaired by an authorized service company.
