2.7. ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS

The environmental ranges guaranteeing the
functionality of the machine are the following:
– Temperature range: +5ºC ÷ +45ºC
– Relative humidity range: 15% ÷ 95%

2.8. COOLING

No special cooling is needed for the machine as
long as the temperature range previously indi-
cated is complied with.

2.9. CUTTING BLADE

Using the correct blade for the material to be
cut is extremely important.
A good quality blade provides a better finish,
less effort, decreases the possibility of break-
ages and gives better production.
The following are examples:
– Continuous band blade: perfect finish,
clean and uniform cut.
– Narrow grouting blade: standard cut and
finish.

3. Description

The dovetail cutter is a machine designed to cut
ceramic and masonry material such as: gres
porcelain, porcelanate, ceramic, granite, slates,
marble, tiles, porcelain, brick, refractory, natural
or artificial stones, glass, concrete and similar.
THE CUTTING OF WOOD OR SIMILAR MATERI-
AL IS FORBIDDEN.
– Wide grouting blade: greater cutting
power but with a rougher finish.
When various materials are cut, a general use
cutting blade should be used.
As long as the same material is cut, the use of
a specific blade for this material is recom-
mended.
Contact the manufacturer regarding the most
appropriate blades.
The abnormal blade breakages and wear and
tear can be due to the following:
– Knocks.
– Inappropriate use (cutting of materials
different from ceramic or masonry).
– Inappropriate alignment of the machine.
THE CUTTING OF WOOD OR SIMILAR MATER-
IAL IS FORBIDDEN.
THE CUTTING OF METAL IS FORBIDDEN.
WATER COOLING SHOULD ALWAYS BE USED.
The cutter should be used under humid condi-
tions, that is, using the provided water cooling.
The cutter consists of the following compo-
