The iMatJet

uses rechargeable batteries

made of lithium-ion batteries.
rechargeable batteries have an integrated
battery management system (BMS), which
prevents short circuiting. Because lithium is an
extremely reactive and easily flammable metal,
caution is advised.
Improper handling can destroy the batteries.

Safety instructions for the batteries
 Protect the batteries

 Stay nearby when charging the batteries. Read the
instructions in the manual for the respective charger
before charging the batteries.
 Use the respective charger only in dry rooms and
do not cover it during operation. Otherwise there is a
risk of a short circuit or fire due to overheating.
 When cleaning the charger, always remove the plug
from the socket beforehand, otherwise you could
suffer an electric shock.
 Despite the sturdy casing, the batteries
must not be dropped from height. Check
the batteries for damage after a fall.
 Do not leave the batteries in the sun.
Never extinguish a lithium fire with water, as this
will cause dangerous gases to develop. If
necessary, use a class D fire extinguisher, as
this type is approved for metal fires.
The chargers are only intended to be used with the
respective battery type! Use only the charger supplied
or one that we have approved for charging, otherwise
there is a risk of fire.
