1. EQUIPMENT

1.1. High quality equipment
The Air Handling Unit (AHU) was designed and built with high-performance equipment currently available on the European
market, in particular:
• A powerful fan, 265 pascals, capable of generating a maximum flow rate of 185 m
(without pressure drop) and resistant to operating temperatures of 70°C.
• Heating resistors with electro-galvanized fins and heating elements under stainless steel tubes.
• A computer-controlled electronic unit that can combine performance and management of all parameters relating
to temperature control, air flow and clogging state of the filter media.
• A frame treated on all its surfaces, assembled with stainless steel screws.

1.2. Refined manufacturing

Every air handling unit is subjected to a series of rigorous post-production test before it is accepted.
In addition to these tests, all the devices are inspected individually in preliminary operating tests.
The equipment meets EC standards:
EN 55014-1 (2006) ; EN 55014-2 (2008) ; EN 61000-3-2 (2006) ; EN 61000-3-3 (2005).
EN 60335-2-30:2003 ; A1:2004 ; A2:2007 EN 60335-1:2002 ; A1:2004 ; A11:2004 ; A12:2006 ;
A2:2006 EN 50366:2003 ; A1:2006.

1.3. Safety fuses for every function

The ventilation and heating function is interrupted if a component is defective or if any object disturbs its proper operation.
The electronic unit and the fan are protected by a 1.25A fuse.
The heating resistors are protected by another 6.3 AT fuse.
The air handling unit is protected by a thermal fuse in case of overheating due to a failure of one of the management sys-
tems. In all cases of failure, the device automatically switches to safe mode. It stops and the control panel shows an error
message to indicate that the unit is out of order.
2. UTILISATION

2.1. Important warnings

The air handling unit (AHU) is designed to deal with condensation problems in the premises for which it is intended. It may
under no circumstances replace a ventilation system.
Your device must be installed by an accredited installer and any and all intervention techniques, apart from replacing a filter
which you will do, must be carried out by one of our technicians.
Any intervention, apart from replacing the filter, would jeopardize the warranty.
We reserve the right to make changes in order to improve the performance of the equipment. The electric line, where the
device's power supply is connected, must comply with the standards in force at the time of the installation. If the electrical ins-
tallation requires improvements or changes, have them carried out by a qualified electrician.
The main cover, which gives access to the different components of the device, can only be opened by a person skilled in the
subject. Tampering inside the device could trigger electric shocks!
This device may not be used by persons (including children) whose physical, sensory or mental capacities are reduced, or
people without experience or knowledge, except under supervision or prior instructions on how to use the device given by a
person responsible for their safety.
WE ADVISE YOU NOT TO PLACE ANYTHING ON THE AIR HANDLING UNIT,
NOT TO OPEN IT, AND TO AVOID ANY SPLASHING WATER.
