OVERLOAD WARNING
If the device detects a large metal object or the soil is highly magnetized and the
search coil is very close, the device will be overloaded. The display will go blank and an
overload message will appear. The device will also emit a special acoustic signal.
Overloading is not harmful to the device but will affect its operation in such
conditions. To prevent this, raise the search coil or change the place of search.

the length to feel comfortable when using the device (measure the length standing
straight with the device in your hand and the search coil parallel to the ground). Turn
counterclockwise to tighten the locking nut.
