1 - IMPORTANT INDICATIONS

1.1 - INTENDED USE

Alvea (nebulization ampoule with mouthpiece or mask), can be used to treat
bronchial asthma, chronic bronchitis, pulmonary emphysema, cystic fibrosis and
other respiratory pathologies by administering medicines in the form of aerosols.
Alvea is designed to spray the medicine into particles of a specific size, so that
they can be conveyed by the air flow of the compressor to the lower respiratory
tract, in the concentration and amount decided by the doctor.
Medicine administration should be subject to a prescription defining the type
of medication, the doses to be administered and the duration of the treatment.
The Alvea ampoule has been designed and manufactured in Italy according to the
provisions of Directive 93/42 EEC on Medical Devices (and subsequent updates)
and bears the CE mark.
