1.3 - WARNINGS
- Carefully read the instructions for use and store them in a safe place.
- The device should only be used for low-respiratory tract therapy. Any other use
is strictly prohibited.
- Air Liquide Medicai Systems S.r.l. is not responsible for the equipment that
is not manufactured by the same and with which the Alvea ampoule is used.
Use devices manufactured in accordance with the provisions of Directive
93/42 EEC on Medical Devices (and subsequent updates) and bearing the
CE marking.
- Some parts, due to their small size, could be swallowed causing suffocation.
- It is advisable to check in the table (Chapter 7) if there are any materials due
to which some form of allergic reaction has occurred in the past.
- Carefully read the operating instructions of the device with which the Alvea
ampoule is used to verify its compatibility before using it (see 6 - TECHNICAL
DATA).
- Please observe the warnings of the manufacturer of the device used with the
Alvea ampoule.
- The device can be used by a child only under the supervision of an adult who
is aware of these Instructions.
- Medication in the form of aerosol should be administered only upon medical
advice, i.e. according to doctor's prescription defining the type of medicine, the
doses to be administered and the duration of the treatment.
- Do not use Alvea while bathing or showering.
1.4 - PATIENT GROUPS
Alvea guarantees highly effective inhalation therapy for patients of any age, from
children of paediatric age to adults.

1.5 - PACKAGE CONTENTS

Alvea ampoule is available in four versions:
• Alvea: with adult buccal mask
• Alvea Junior: with paediatric mask
• Alvea Basic: with mouthpiece
• Alvea Family: with paediatric mask, adult buccal mask and mouth piece.
The package contains (Fig. A) the parts listed below.
