The power supply input must be:
CKE...M ( single-phase)
CKE... (three-phase)
CPE...M (single-phase)
CPE... (three-phase)

3.4) Signals cables connection
The signals connections are made at factory. Their wiring diagram are explained in the ESD manual.
4) OPERATING MODES
Automatic mode
It is the usual operating mode.
The ESD controls the motor's rotation speed in order to maintain constant pressure within the installation (the
consigned pressure).
The ECD controls the start and the stop of the pumps depending on the introduced parameters of the start
pressure and differential pressure of stop (fault 1.5bar).
Manual mode
The ESD control allows for manually starting and stopping the pump at an adjustable frequency.
The ECD allows the start and stop of the main pump or of the auxiliary ones in manual mode.
5) CONFIGURATION
For equipment configuration, refer to the Speedrive and/or SLV installation manuals
6) START-UP
6.1) Verifications prior to initial start-up
Make sure the mains frequency and voltage correspond to those indicated on the characteristics plate on the
pumps.
Prime the set by completely filling the suction manifold and the pumps with water, through their priming cap,
ensuring that there are no leaking joints or connections.
Verify the pressure of the expansion vessel.
NEVER RUN THE SET DRY.
6.2) Start-up
Open all the closing valves in the suction and discharge circuits.
Connect the electric power supply.
ESD
The ESD will enter into manual mode. For configuration follow the ESD manual.
Check that the motor turns in the direction shown on the fan cover. If it is turning in the wrong direction in a
pump fitted with ESD, correct this in the corresponding menu, in a pump fitted with ELV reverse the two
phases on the set's connections panel.
