MALFUNCTION
1
Low-water system triggered
1
Power outage in the control panel
1
Thermal relay triggered by wrong voltage
1, 2
Transducer broken or blocked
2
Stop pressure greater than the maximum
pressure delivered by the pump
2, 4
Water consumption greater than expected Make sure there are no water leaks at any point
2, 4, 5, 7
Air intake by suction
5
Gate valve closed or check valve mounted
the wrong way round
3
Too much air in the accumulator.
Remember: 0.5 bar less than the start-up
pressure
3
No air in the accumulator
3
Accumulator access pipe closed by a
valve
3, 7
Suction valves or pipes blocked
4
Water recirculation between the pumps of
the unit
4
The pumps spin in the opposite direction
tothat indicated by the arrow
4
Wear of the hydraulic part of any of the
pumps
4
A pump may be stopped in multiple units
5
Load losses greater than expected
5
Unprimed pumps
6
Incorrect amperage setting
6
Excessive consumption of the pump
motor
7
The diameter of the suction duct is too
small; excessive use of couplings, causing
sudden direction changes of the suction
duct, siphon effect.
POSSIBLE CAUSES
Reset it or wait for the water level to recover
Check the protective fuses and the thermal relay
Check that the voltage/intensity/thermal relay is
the same as that of the technical information
plate or contact Technical Service
Replace it
Adjust to the correct pressure
of the installation or contact Technical Service
Check the location of the air intake and properly
seal the couplings and joints or repair/replace the
damaged pipe
Open or switch the direction of the valve
Set the correct air pressure
Set the correct air pressure or replace the
membrane
Open the valve
Clean or replace
Check the anti-backflow valves.
Invert two phases on the panel.
Contact Official Technical Service
Check whether the thermal relay has been
triggered and reset it
Try to eliminate the load losses or reduce the
suction height.
Prime the pumps properly through the priming
hole or check that the priming tank is properly
installed
Set it according to the amperage of the motor
(10%)
Check that the shaft spins freely
Check that the suction duct is fitted properly.
