8. Range and performance
The maximum range and performance of the vehicle depends on a number of variables:
Terrain: riding on smooth roads provides greater range and performance than riding on
rough roads and climbs.
Weight of user: the greater the weight, the lower the range and performance of the vehicle.
Temperature: riding the scooter in very cold or hot conditions affects range and
performance.
Speed and riding style: riding smoothly and at constant speed extends the autonomy.
Continuous acceleration, deceleration and manoeuvring greatly reduce the range. A lower
speed extends the range.
Maintenance: prompt recharging, proper maintenance and regular checking of tyre
pressure increase range and ensures consistent performance over time.
The level of battery charge affects performance – the lower the level, the lower the speed,
especially on climbs.
