A1.5 PuliFIL operation
Usually the filters that are in the market only remove the dirt accumulated in the vessel without
cleaning the cartridge. PuliFIL, thanks to its brushing and discharge patented system, guarantees
an effective and actual cleaning of the filtering cartridge too. The cleaning of the PuliFIL is easy
and immediate: it is enough to rotate clockwise the operation knob. PuliFIL's cleaning brushes are
equipped with silver inserts which contrast the bacterial proliferation in the brush itself.
A1.6 Characteristics of the water to be treated
PuliFIL has been designed and built for treating water intended for human consumption in
compliance with Directive 98/83/CE and subsequent amendments.
Warning! PuliFIL S is not designed to filter closed circuit water, process and discharge
water, water containing large quantities of sand or coarse bodies larger than 2 mm, silt or
chemicals (oils, solvents, acids, alkalynes, glycols).
Warning! High chloride concentrations can adversely affect the aggressiveness of the
water and selective corrosion by dezincification of the filters. To remedy the effects of
corrosion, it is advisable that the waters do not have chloride concentrations (Cl
than 200 mg/l.
