5.4.4.2 For elevation with
extended elbow
1. Complete the mechanical settings and
adjust the device to the patient as de-
scribed in section 4.2 – settings
2. Perform adjustment
per arm length to the minimum.

mally outward, toward motor C.

isolated elevation (flexion) movement is
to be carried out (usually 90°), and then
deactivate motor A.
8. Program the desired position for mo-
tor C (internal/external rotation) to be
maintained during the isolated elevation
(flexion) movement (usually 0°), and then
deactivate motor C.
9. Program the desired range of motion for
the isolated elevation (flexion) movement
at motor B (abduction/adduction).

• For an exclusive flexion (elevation)
protocol, motors A (anteversion/

rotation) must be switched off.
• Having programmed the ranges of
motion, you can program additional
options, such as pause or speed.
• The fixed stop positions of the differ-
ent motors can also be adjusted when
they are deactivated.
