Raise the handlebar (Illustration A1 + E1 + W2 + W4 )

IMPORTANT
Make sure that the cables are not pinched, squeezed, twisted or overstretched
when the handlebars are folded apart or collapsed! Always run the cables along
the outside of the bar connection. A damaged cable may result in a technical
defect of the equipment.
IMPORTANT
Avoid damage to the throttle cables when folding or lifting the handlebars: do not
kink or jam the throttle cables.
Remove the mower carefully from the box. Remove the packaging material.
Pull the handlebar which is collapsed in a Z-shape upwards into place A1 .
When the top and bottom parts of the handlebar are on the same level, firmly
tighten the handle nuts by hand E1 .
Pull the handlebars carefully towards the rear and align the bore hole in the bottom
part of the handlebar with the required height setting catch in the bracket W2 .
Three different handlebar heights can be set.
front catch = steep handlebar setting (for taller people)
rear catch = flat handlebar setting (for smaller people)
Use the same catch position in the bracket on both sides.
Insert the flat round screws (from the tool bag) through the bottom part of the
handlebar from the outside W2 , then
1.
insert one washer each between the bottom part of the handlebar and the
bracket,
2.
insert the same washers on the insides of the brackets,
3.
followed by one spring washer each.
4.
Screw tightly using the handle nuts on both sides.
5.
Remove the handle from the tool bag and place it on the brackets W4 . Insert
the cheese-head screws with the washers in place from above through the
handle and the bracket. Place a large washer each in place from below and
screw together with a safety nut.
IMPORTANT
Make sure that the structure is without tension. If the components are under
tension, this can lead to increased vibration values.

Handle starter assembly (Illustration L1 )

Remove the starter cable holder (1) from the tool bag.
Unscrew the nut until the two halves can be pushed over the bar.
There is a sticker (2) on the top bar showing the position of the starter cable
holder.
NOTE
For reasons of safety, the starter cable holder may only be fitted in the
prescribed position.
Push the motor stop safety control bar (3) onto the top part of the bar (4) and hold
it tight, pull the starter cable (5) out and insert it into the starter cable holder.
Fit the two halves (6) together, tighten the nut again. This prevents the starter
cable popping out.
The starter cable holder must be fitted / aligned in such a way that the starter cable
is freely accessible and does not rub against any other parts.

Adjusting the cutting height (Illustration I + I1 )

Adjusting the front wheel height
The height of both front wheels can be adjusted using the height adjustment lever (1)
on the front left-hand wheel I .
Set the height adjustment lever to the required position.
Adjusting the rear wheel height
The height of both rear wheels can be adjusted using the height adjustment lever (2) on
the rear left-hand wheel I .
Lift the equipment slightly by the lower bar using one hand in order to relieve the
pressure on the wheel.
