6.1. General information on EMERGENCY MODE in COMPACT systems
In the COMPACT system, when entering EMERGENCY MODE from any of the devices, the following must be taken
into account:
- By default, the EMERGENCY MODE functionalities are password protected. The password (1234 by default) is set
when configuring the equipment in the Call Point or CallPoint Configurator settings. If desired, you can deactivate the
password protection by modifying the configuration.
- Entering EMERGENCY MODE means that the system LEDs and contacts configured as EMERGENCY MODE indicators
are activated. For example, the displays of the DC-700ETH microphone desk and the audio matrix show the
emergency menu and the EMERGENCY button lights up, the EMERGENCY indicator on the slave matrix lights up, the
output contacts configured as Emergency Mode Notification of the devices are activated... On the other hand, in the
areas that are in EMERGENCY MODE, some of the non-essential functions of the system, such as message time
schedules or music programs, are disabled.
- During emergency mode, live voice messages launched from PC, DC-700ETH or DC-700ETH/T are directed to the
EMERGENCY GROUP configured for each audio matrix. It is not necessary to select the zones manually.
