5.4 Changing the language

► Open the Settings menu, see Figure 5.5
► Tap the desired language.
The operating software will switch to the desired language.

5.5 Setting start monitoring

Start monitoring checks whether the starting switch has
been addressed long enough. This prevents a crimping
process from being triggered although the conductor is not
in the correct starting position. The function is not active
upon delivery.
► Open the Settings menu and browse to the second
page, see Figure 5.6.

5.6 Setting sounds

You can switch sounds on or off for operating the touch dis-
play. The function is not active upon delivery.

5.7 Change user type

Each time the machine is switched on, the user type Op-
erator is active. Three user types are available in the oper-
ating software with different authorisations.

Service
– Adjusting the machine
– Completing service work

► Open the Service menu and tap User.

► Enter the required access code and tap OK.
The active user type is indicated by a coloured
frame: Setter (yellow) or Service (red).
The user types Setter and Service only remain active for
10 minutes at a time, after which the type Operator is au-
tomatically set again.
