Example
Following is filter behavior with:
range = 2
l
coefficient = 2 or 10
l
The full scale is 277 V, therefore with range = 2 the intervention range is +/- 5.5 V (2% of 277 V). The higher the coefficient value,
the higher the measurement stability.
Element
Intervention range = 2
Measured value
Measurements displayed with coefficient = 2
Measurements displayed with coefficient = 10
From WM50: See "Settings from WM50" on page 29, sub-menu Filter.
Alarms
Introduction
WM50 manages:
up to 16 independent alarms for the variables measured on the main line
l
up to 96 channel alarms for a variable selected for advance channel monitoring (with different set points for each channel)
l
up to 48 alarms for a variable selected for advance load monitoring (with different set points for each load)
l
Alarm settings for main line variables
The following parameters must be set for each alarm:
enable alarm
l
variable to be monitored
l
alarm type: up, down, out of window, in window (see "Alarm types" on the next page)
l
set 1: alarm activation threshold
l
set 2: alarm deactivation threshold
l
alarm activation delay
l
start-up condition management mode (see "Start-up condition management" on the next page)
l
alarm retention, latch function (see "Latch function" on page 23)
l
any associated digital output and activation logic in the event of several alarms associated with the same output (see "Output
l
activation logic" on page 23)
Note: the associated digital output must be set with Alarm function in the relevant settings.
