BEFORE THE FIRST USE

Remove all the packaging materials.

Check the contents to verify that everything is complete and undamaged. Do not
operate the appliance if the contents are incomplete or appear damaged.
NOTES:
The appliance may produce an odour and/or emit smoke when switched on for the

first time, as residues from the production process evaporate because of the heat.
This is normal and does not indicate a defect or hazard. Ventilate amply.
Clean the appliance thoroughly before using for the first time (Cleaning and

Maintenance).
ASSEMBLY

Place the appliance on a clean, flat and heat-resistant surface.
Assembling the basket handle (7):
1.
Place the hooks into the two holes of the basket (the hooks correspond to the two
metal ends of the basket handle).
2.
Rotate the handle towards the basket rim, allowing the handlebars to lock into
place on the outer side of the basket's bracket.
3.
The handle is now in the locked position (ill. a and b).
Do not assemble in any other way (ill. c).

Before using your appliance make sure:
The oil pan (9) is secured in the correct position with the oil filter cover (11)
o
and oil valve (12) on the same side as the oil filtration control knob (14) (ill.
d). Ensure the oil filter cover (11) is in place inside the oil pan (9).
The control element (21) is placed on the connecting plate on the back of
o
the housing (13). Ensure the grooves of the connecting plate are in the
guides of the control element (ill. e).
NOTES:
Your appliance is equipped with a safety switch (5) located on the control element
➢
(21). If the control element (21) is not properly placed in its position, the appliance
will not operate.
