6. MAINTENANCE
1. Regularly check the insulation resistance between the pump winding and the motor hou-
sing. It must not be less than 50M Ω. Otherwise, measures must be taken. After meeting
the requirements, the electric pump can be used again.
2. The following measures shall be taken according to the following steps:
Disassembly: check all vulnerable parts such as bearing, mechanical seal, impeller, etc.
Replace them if damage occurs. Oil change: Remove the oil chamber screw to fill with 10#
mechanical oil to approximately 80-90% capacity of the oil chamber.
Pressure test: Pressure test shall be performed after repair or replacement and the pressu-
re shall be 0.2 MPa with 3 minutes until no leakage occurs.
3. If the electric pump remains unused for a long period of time, it should not be submer-
ged in water, work it in clean water for several minutes to remove hard sediments inside
and outside it, dry it so that no rust remains, then place it in a ventilated area to dry.
For used electric pumps, repaint with rust resistant paint according to their erosion.
7. ELECTRICAL CONNECTIONS
1) The pump must be connected to the terminals or to a starting device at a level that
cannot be reached by water.
2) All electrical equipment must always be earthed. This applies to the pump as well as to
any monitoring device.
3) The electrical installation must comply with local and national regulations.
4) Check that the mains voltage and frequency match those given on the motor nameplate.
