The HOOP interface can be used to command all automations in the home
or other devices. The app includes the possibility of coupling various gateways
according to the various contexts to control, managing various accounts with
roles and customised use modes. During system configuration, the BeMOVE app
allows you to associate the HOOP gateway with the WiFi support network.
Association of the gateway with the WiFi support network
1. Start the BeMOVE APP, then LOGIN
2. SMARTPHONE - HOOP GATEWAY DIRECT CONNECTION
- Click on "Add new HOOP gateway"
- Place HOOP in Access Point WiFi mode by pressing the specific button on the
back of the device and keep pressed for 5 seconds (see Fig.6), the flashing
green LAN/WiFi Led indicates the HOOP device is in association mode.
- Activate the smartphone WiFi and connect it to the HOOP Access Point by con-
necting it to the network indicated on the SSID on the device label (Fig.3)
- Enter the Serial Number of the HOOP gateway (see label indicated in Fig.3)
- Choose the WiFi network to which the HOOP gateway will be associated. The
App recognises the networks available, select the one which will be used.
- Enter the password of the selected WiFi network.
- Choose the system operating mode (see the operating mode paragraphs).
- Choose the time zone to attribute to the HOOP gateway
- Attribute a category, a name and a PIN (alphanumerical from 1 to 10 cha-
racters) to the HOOP gateway
- Save
IMPORTANT: Having reached this point, it is indispensable to disconnect
the smartphone from the WiFi network of the HOOP device and connect it
to the domestic/company WiFi network.
OPERATING MODE (FIG.1)
Three different operating modes are possible:
OPEN MODE
Operating mode suitable for family environments where all users have equal
privileges.
Advanced programming is available as, for example, the possibility of planning
events or associate automatic activation of a device to the GPS position on the
smartphone/tablet.
Requires the gateway is connected to the internet, communication between the
HOOP gateway and the apps takes place via internet connection (see Fig.10).
All information relating to installation and operation is also saved on the cloud server.
SECURITY MODE
Operating mode suitable for more complex situations such as complexes,
buildings or companies, where access rules must be assigned for specific
devices and/or time zones.
There is a differentiation between "Master" (no limits) and "Slave" users (with lim-
its). The first user that completes the installation procedure of the gateway, acquires
the role of system administrator ("Super Master").
All the functionalities are available of advanced programming.
