5.2 Survey of possible error messages and their solutions
5.2.1 Lid release during power failure (Emergency Lid Release)
The OPEN button suddenly fails due to shutdown as a result of power failure or due to shutdown as a result of
the burnout of fuse of the instrument. In order to protect the centrifuge sample, a pull ring is set at the bottom of
the instrument. Please pull the pull ring downward, the door lock will be opened, and the door cover can be
pushed open. However, the following rule-breaking operations are strictly prohibited.
(1) In the case the revolutions per minute of the instrument is not reduced to 100r/min during speed reduction
and shutdown, it is strictly prohibited to pull the pull ring at the bottom of the instrument to forcibly open the door
lock and manually force the rotor to stop operation, as which will cause personal injury.
(2) It is strictly prohibited to manually turn off the power switch and then turn on the power to press the OPEN
button to open the lid and force the rotor to stop by hand at the point when the program of the instrument
considers that the revolutions per minute is 0.
5.2.2 Description of the error message system
When operates the instrument improperly or a failure occurs, an error code will appear in the "Time" window.
See the following table for information about error codes.
Error
Description
code
E1
The door is not closed properly or a failure occurs to the door lock
E2
Control system failure
E3
Overvoltage fault
E4
Overcurrent fault
E7
Speed sensor fault
E8
Overspeed fault
E9
Unbalance fault
6.RECEIPT OF CENTRIFUGES TO REPAIR
Health risk from contaminated equipment, rotors and accessories.
In case of returning the centrifuge for repairing to the manufacturer, please notice the following:
The centrifuge must be decontaminated and cleaned before the shipment for the protection of persons,
environment and material.
Decontamination certificate at goods return delivery (See APPENDIX). We reserve the right to not accept
contaminated centrifuges.
Further on all costs occurred for the cleaning and disinfection of the units will go to the debit of the customer's
account.
7.TRANSPORT AND STORAGE
7.1 Transport
Before transporting, take out the rotor.
Only transport the unit in the original packaging.
Install the transport protection material to secure the motor shaft, when transporting over longer distances.
