Damage to the workpiece if the saw blade is not retracted
The workpiece's cutting edge can be damaged if the saw blade hasn't stopped when returning to the home
position.
Only return the saw unit to its home position when the saw blade has stopped.

Stop the saw blade by pressing the clamping lever 6 (see Figure 15 on page 23) before returning the saw

unit to its home position, in case you have interrupted the feed before reaching the stop slide.
The saw blade may still rotate during return travel.
9.
Press the rocker switch 3 to move the saw unit
back to its starting position.
The retraction is automatically switched off

when the starting position is reached.
