5.11.1 Cuts longer than 3100 mm in length
After the first cut, place the machine into the end of the existing kerf to make ripping cuts that are longer than
3100 mm [122 in]. This smoothly extends the cut.
Use the following procedure to extend ripping
cuts over 3,100 mm [122 in] in length:
1.
Make the ripping cut.
2.
Switch off the machine before moving it.
3.
After the first cut, push the push stop 21 down.
4.
Place the machine with the push stop 21 at the
end of the kerf so that the saw unit is still above
the kerf.
5.
Align the guide rail at the other end of the
workpiece to extend the cut in a straight line.

The crossfeed stop system available as an
optional equipment is suitable for this
purpose.
6.
Make the next cut.
✓
The ripping cut is successfully completed.
