5.10 Scoring
The integrated scoring device of the panel saw system allows splinter-free cuts of overlaid boards. The saw
blade is offset by only ca. 0.15 mm [0.01 in] to the cutting path.
Use the following procedure to use the scoring
function of the machine:
1.
Turn the scoring lever 8 to the "scoring"
position.
2.
Set the cutting depth to 2 mm.
3.
Make the scoring cut.
4.
Then move the saw unit back to its starting
position.
