4.4 Using repetition guide fences
This section applies only to the M, ML and L versions of the guiding device.
Using the repetition guide fences, you can set two different angles for repetitive machining steps.
Moving the guide fence on the scale side of the guiding device against the repetition guide fences thus makes
it possible to quickly switch back and forth between two preset angles.
Use the following procedure to set the repetition
guide fence:
1.
Set the sliding bevel segment 2 to the required
value and tighten it.
The angle is indicated on a scale on the
➢
top of the guiding device.
2.
Using a hexagonal screwdriver, loosen the
screw 4 of the repetition guide fence by half a
revolution CCW
3.
Move the repetition guide fence towards the
sliding bevel segment.
4.
Using the hexagonal screwdriver, turn the screw
4 CW and tighten it.
If necessary, you can set the opposite
➢
repetition guide fence to a different angle.
The repetition guide fence is set.
