5.8 Electrical mounting

Model ACS-10 can recalibrate gas density monitors with up to 5 switch contacts. For
each of these contacts, two bundled strand pairs are available in an end splice.
To calibrate leakage detection systems with less than five contacts, secure the
unconnected lines with the enclosed terminals. For this, connect one strand pair (e.g. 5A
and 5B) in one terminal. Otherwise, the measurement may be falsified.
The switch contacts must be galvanically isolated, otherwise incorrect measuring results
of the switch points or the resistance measurement may occur. Galvanically coupled
contacts must be tested individually.
First screw the contacts to the test item and then plug the connector into the connection
kit.
The strand pairs are marked as follows:
The number (1 to 5) refers to the contact and the letter (A, B) to the function.
A = measuring line + (supply, DC 24 V)
B = measuring line - (contact return line)

Only connect passive test items to the calibration system.
