3. INSTALLATION

Before using the refrigerator for the first time, you must read these tips.
Warning
For proper installation, the refrigerator must be placed on a level surface of hard material
and of same height as the rest of the floor. This surface must be strong enough to hold a
completely loaded refrigerator.
The wheels should only be used to move the refrigerator forwards or backwards. Moving the
refrigerator sideways could damage the floor and roller heads. Fig. 2
Refrigerator ventilation
-
To improve the refrigerator system's efficiency and to save energy, it is necessary to
ensure proper ventilation around the freezer to dissipate the heat. For this reason, you
should leave enough free space around the refrigerator.
-
It is advisable to leave at least 50-70 mm of free space from the rear part of the refrigerator
to the wall, at least 100 mm space from the surface to the ceiling, at least 100 mm from the
side to the wall, and free space at the front to be able to open the door 130º. Check figure
3 for reference.
