Safety instructions for height-adjustable
tables
The use of the Spine module together with height-adjustable
tables can create special danger points.
WARNING
There is a risk of crushing at moving furniture parts (tables,
doors).
— Keep away from the movement range of the tabletop.
— Keep in mind the safety distance to edges and furniture
(see safety labels).
— Do not sit on the Active Layer.
Safety instructions for optional
accessories
The use of the Spine module together with current-carrying
components (e.g. lighting or power strips) can create special
danger points.
CAUTION
LED lighting (screens, lights) can cause discomfort.
— Switch off unneeded LED lighting.
Operation
Switching on the lighting
• Move one hand under the sensor in the middle of the light to
turn on the light.
Setting the switching duration of the light
The switching time of the lighting can be adjusted differently
from the default settings. If there is no movement in the sensor
area, the lighting is switched off after the set time.
• Use a small screwdriver to turn the dial next to the sensor to
shorten or extend the switching duration.
Switching duration: 8 seconds to 35 minutes.
The light source of this lamp cannot be replaced. If the ser-
vice life of the light source has expired, replace the entire
light.
Connecting external devices
There are connections on the mounted table (see operating
instructions of the table) for connecting external devices (e.g.
notebook, smartphone).
• Connect external devices only to the provided connections.
• Use the provided cable guides.
