WARNINGS:
• TO AVOID FIRE, SHOCK, OR DEATH: TURN OFF POWER at circuit breaker or fuse and
test that power is off before wiring!
• TO AVOID OVERHEATING, DO NOT install a current transformer in an area where it
would block ventilation openings.
• Only authorized personnel are allowed to work on or to install/dismiss the product.
• If you are unsure about any part of these instructions, consult an electrician.
• The product is designed only for the application specified in the operating instructions.
• Current transformers may not be installed in equipment where they exceed 75 percent of
the wiring space of any cross-sectional area within the equipment.
• Secure current transformer and route conductors so that they do not directly contact live
terminals or bus.
• Accessories can be used with the product only if approved or specified by Leviton.

Installation
CAUTIONS:
• The contact surface of the core material has been waterproofed, it still may be
susceptible to rust. Contact surface has to be cleaned in case of rust with the
use of WD-40 or CRC5-56.
• When cleaning the core or housing, do not use any chemicals other than WD-
40 or CRC5-56.
