Accessories
Kongskilde offers the following accessories for the CVL
- for further information, please contact Kongskilde.
Exhaust pipe 1 meter FK160 (accessory):
FK160 stainless and electropolished outlet pipe for in-
stallation on the component discharge. The pipe length
will avoid bottom valve contact, for example during
cleaning or removal of blocked components. See sec-
tion "Warning notes".
Blow back nozzle (accessory):
To prevent components from falling into the chamber
after the top valve has closed, a blow back nozzle can
be fitted. This nozzle will provide an exhaust of com-
pressed air into the inlet spigot, thereby making com-
ponents close to the edge to fall into the chamber. This
prevents components from getting caught in the bot-
tom valve. The nozzle is controlled by a solenoid valve
which receives a signal from the control unit.
Level sensor (accessory):
This sensor is used in connection with diagram C (con-
tinuous process), diagram D (transport to external con-
tainer) and diagram E (apportioned volume process)
- see section "Startup".
The sensor is supplied with a T-pipe, and is mounted
in the top of the chamber. It transmits a signal to the
control unit when the CVL is full, after which the bottom
valve opens.
The sensor is connected to the control with:
•
Black to X1.14 (signal)
•
Brown to X1.13 (24 VDC)
•
Blue to X1.23 (0 VDC)
See also diagrams C, D and E at the back of the man-
ual.
The height X is adjusted as follows:
•
T the pipe section is removed
•
the components are poured into the CVL to the de-
sired amount
•
the T-pipe and the level sensor are refitted, and the
bolt clamps are tightened
•
the control is set to program 2 and the start / stop
switch is set to start. The bolt clamp around the
sensor pipe is loosened and the pipe is led down-
wards just until the bottom valve opens. The bolt
clamp around the pipe is tightened so that the
height X does not change afterwards
•
some fillings are made during normal operation and
the component quantity is checked. Since the com-
ponents may be uneven in the chamber, a readjust-
ment of the height X may be necessary
