NB - The value N, E_N and Shakes can only be ad-
justed with the start / stop switch on Start! N, E_N
and Shakes are adjusted in the same way as shown
above. The value on the left shows the preselected
number of signals, the value on the right is the cur-
rent number of signals. When the right value reach-
es the left value, the CVL's bottom valve opens.

Number of CVL shakes adjusts the number of move-
ments in the bottom valve. This is done by the cone
in the bottom valve first opening completely and then
closing approx. 4 cm, to shake off any hanging compo-
nents. The movement takes a few tenths of a second,
and is done 3 seconds after opening the bottom valve.
The number of movements should be set as low as
possible, but must ensure that there are no compo-
nents hanging at the bottom valve cone.
There must be no changes in the programme, as you
may compromise personal safety.
Likewise, warranty will be void if the programme is
modified.
The bottom valve's air cylinder is adjustable in brake
function, to ensure a smooth closing of the valve. This
is done by turning the adjusting screws next to the air
pipe inlet on the cylinder.

Additionally, the throttling can be adjusted, if neces-
sary. This is done by removing the rear console cover,
thereby gaining access to the air valves. Replace the
cover after adjustment.
