Storage and Maintenance

Storage
Follow the steps below for storage if the generator will not be used for
more than 30 days.
1. Before storage, start the generator and let it run for five to ten
minutes to warm up. Next, stop the generator to drain the engine oil.
2. Take down the engine oil drain hose, open the cap by rotating it
counterclockwise, and drain all the engine oil.
To avoid scalding, DO NOT touch hot engine oil.
3. Install the engine oil drain hose back in place and rotate the cap
clockwise to tighten it.
4. Remove the fuel drain bolt on the bottom of the fuel tank, drain
the fuel with a funnel, and store the fuel in a dedicated container to
avoid gum formation. Install the fuel drain bolt back in place after
the fuel is completely drained. Clean the funnel and wipe it with a
dry cloth before storage.
5. Press to open the latch on the connector of the high-pressure oil
pipe, take down the pipe, and drain the fuel inside. Install the pipe
back in place.
6. Place the generator in a cool, dry, and clean place.
Transportation
The generator especially its exhaust system can become very hot during running. To avoid scalding or fire of
flammable materials, if the generator has been running, wait for at least 15 minutes to let it cool down before
moving it into a transportation vehicle. Make sure the generator is stable during transportation to avoid spilling.
Maintenance
Scan the QR code on the fuel tank to view the tutorial videos or refer to the labels and stickers on the generator
for maintenance instructions.
Check and maintain the generator regularly to keep it in good condition.
Maintenance Safety Notes
Before maintaining, stop the generator, disconnect all the electric devices and batteries, and let the
generator cool down completely.
Maintain the generator in a clean, dry, and stable place. Make sure the generator cannot move by accident.
Read the user guide before operation and make sure you have all the tools and the necessary skills.
Be extremely careful when using the generator near fuel to decrease the possibility of a fire hazard or
explosion. Use non-flammable solvent to clean the parts. DO NOT use fuel for cleaning. Keep the parts with
fuel away from cigarette buttes, sparks, and fire.
Maintenance Schedule
Follow the maintenance schedule in table below. The maintenance frequency should be increased if the
generator is running in a dusty or other harsh environment.
