1 Preface

Get fibre-optic Internet into your home living
room using a coaxial or telephone line!
The devolo Giga Bridge gives you a fibre-optic In-
ternet connection quickly and without any incon-
venient routing of new network cables to your
living room. Bridge the distance from the active or
passive NT (Network Termination)/ONT (Optical
Network Termination) to the router quickly and
easily using an existing coaxial (SAT/TV) or tele-
phone line that is no longer in use. The
devolo Giga Bridge uses this wiring to build a high-
speed point-to-point connection with a PHY rate
of up to 2 Gbps, allowing the full potential of the fi-
bre-optic connection to be used without the bur-
den of installing new cables. The PHY rate refers to
the speed of the physical layer. This is the maxi-
mum possible speed at which data can be trans-
mitted.

It is essential to have read and understood all safe-
ty and operating instructions before the device is
used for the first time; keep this manual and/or in-
stallation guide as well as the flyer "Safety & ser-
vice" safe for future reference.

The flyer "Safety & service" provides cross-product
and conformity-relevant safety information e. g.
general safety notes, data of frequency range and
transmitting power and channels and carrier fre-
quencies for Wi-Fi products as well as disposal in-
formation.
