3 Initial use

This chapter tells you everything you need to know
to set up and use your Giga Bridge. In addition, we
briefly describe the devolo software.
In the following sections we describe how you con-
nect the Giga Bridge, forward the fibre-optic Inter-
net signal from the ONT to the router or use the
Giga Bridge as an expansion of the internal home
network.

rios can be found in chapter 2.3 Possible
applications of the Giga Bridge.

Use the devolo devices, the devolo software and
the provided accessories as described to prevent
damage and injury.
It is essential to have read and understood all safe-
ty and operating instructions before the device is
used for the first time.
