4.3.2LAN
You make changes to the ethernet network set-
tings in the LAN area.
IPv4 Configuration
In the factory default condition, only the DHCP en-
abled option for IPv4 is activated. This means that
the IPv4 address is retrieved automatically from a
DHCP server. The currently assigned network data
is visible (greyed out).
If a DHCP server is already present for the assign-
ment of IP addresses in the network (e.g. your In-
ternet router), you should have the DHCP enabled
option activated for IPv4 so that the Giga Bridge
adapter automatically receives an address.
If you would like to assign a static IP address, make
the corresponding entries for the Address, Subnet
mask, Default gateway and Name server fields.
Confirm your settings by clicking the Disk icon.
Keep in mind that all settings that have al-
ready been made will be lost!
Then, restart the Giga Bridge adapter so that your
changes take effect.

4.3.3 System

In the System area, you control the settings for se-
curity as well as other device functions of the
Giga Bridge adapters.
