POSITIONING AND STARTING
Even when not in use, disconnect the plug (5) from the socket before
mounting or removing the single parts or before cleaning.
Follow the following precautions when positioning the appliance:
Put the appliance on a horizontal, dry surface.
Put the appliance so that it is protected against overheating.
WARNING
Electric shock hazard in case of use of the
appliance with damaged power cord. Nev-
er start the appliance with damaged power
cord.

ASSEMBLY OF THE APPLIANCE

Clean the various parts before assembly.
Put the ingredients to be processed into the bowl (8).
Press the button (3) and raise the head (1) of the appliance (Fig. B).
Put the bowl lid (10) on the arm of the appliance and rotate the bowl lid
(10) counter-clockwise for locking it (Fig. C).
Insert the bowl (8) in the appliance base by rotating it clockwise, as
shown on the appliance body base (7) by the signs "
D).
Insert the required attachment (12), (13), or (14) into the drive shaft (9)
making sure to match the grooves on the attachment with the pin on
the shaft, pull slightly and rotate counter-clockwise (Fig. E).
Keep pressed the button (3) and lower the head (1) with the other hand
(Fig. F).
Set the speed selector switch (11) at "0".
Connect the plug (5) to the electrical socket, ensuring the mains power
corresponds to the one indicated on the appliance data tag.
Start appliance at minimum speed to avoid splashing, then increase it as
necessary (see table "A").
Use the Pulse function for short intervals. Rotate and keep the switch
in Pulse position to activate it. As soon as the switch is released, the
appliance stops.
Use the Pulse function for short intervals to prevent overheating.
