Tightening Up
Tighten up the angle to make bevel cuts
• Disconnect the tool.
• Lower and secure the cutter head (see page 7).
• Adjust the rotating table to make 0° miter cuts, and keep
the cutter head column at 0° (see page 10).
• Set an L-square adjusted at 90° against the table and the
flat side of the disc.
• Wearing protective gloves turn the disc to verify in several
spots if correctly aligned.
• Should the disc is misaligned loosen the bevel cut knob
(25).
• Gauge the cutting disc tightening or loosening the screw
with the hex key included. The disc face should make
contact in all its points with the square.
• Tighten the bevel cut knob and the jam nut in the stop
screw for 0° bevel cuts.
• Once the disc is gauged adjust the bevel cut scale pointer
(26) use a Phillips screwdriver to loosen both screws and
set correctly into de zero in the scale.
• Follow a similar process to gauge the disc angle at ±45°:
set the cutter head column at ±45° (see page 10) and
tighten or loosen the stop screws for 45° bevel cuts (27).
Se the cutting disc is making contact in all its sides with the
L-square adjusted at 45°.
Tighten up the angle in the cutting guide
• Disconnect the tool.
• Lower and secure the cutter head (see page 7).
• Adjust the rotating table to make 0° miter cuts, and keep
the cutter head column to make 0° bevel cuts (see page
10).
• Set a square against the cutting guide (14) and against
the disc face (9).
• Should the cutting guide or disc is not making contact all
along the square, using an hex key loosen the screws (a)
fixing the cutting guide.
• Set the square as reference and adjust the guide until
perpendicular to the cutting disc.
• Tighten back the four screws (a) to fix the cutting guide
in the correct position.
• The screws (b) may be loosened to adjust the contact
area in the cutting guide with the work material.
