2.9. Declaration of conformity
We Bischoff & Bischoff GmbH declare under our sole responsibility that
the wheelchair BX 11 / BX 11 S complies with all requirements of MDR
2017/745 that are applicable.
2.10. Responsibility
We shall only provide a warranty if
• the product is used under the specified conditions and for the
intended purpose,
• changes, extensions, repairs and maintenance work are only carried
out by such persons who have been authorised by us to do so
and the changes or extensions have been approved by Bischoff &
Bischoff and
• the wheelchair is used in compliance with all instructions for use.
2.11. Useful life
The expected product life is up to 5 years. This is only possible if the
product is used as intended and the safety, care and maintenance ins-
tructions in this user manual are followed.

3. Product and delivery overview
3.1. Delivery inspection
All Bischoff und Bischoff GmbH products are subjected to a proper
final inspection in our company and provided with the CE mark (see
chapter 3.3).
The wheelchair is delivered in a special box in factory settings. After un-
packing, keep the carton if possible. It is used for possible later storage
or return of the product.
Delivery and instruction are usually carried out by qualified medical
supply retailers.
In case of shipment by rail or forwarding agent, the goods must be che-
cked immediately for transport damage in the presence of the deliverer.
Check the contents for completeness (see chapter 3.2) and integrity. In
case of irregularities or damage, contact our customer service.
3.2. Scope of delivery
To avoid damage during transport, plug-in attachments are supplied
as standard.
After receiving the goods, please immediately check the contents for
completeness. The contents consist of:
• Repackaging
• Wheelchair (pre-assembled)
• Back cushion
• 2 leg rests (on the BX 11 S)
• This instruction manual
• Accessories, if applicable
