4. Assembly / Adaptations
4.1. Fold and unfold
Your new Bischoff & Bischoff wheelchair is delivered assembled and folded
in a Bischoff & Bischoff original cardboard box.
In order to avoid transport damage, plug-in attachments are
supplied separately.

Unfold
•
Position the folding wheelchair next to you. (Fig. 04)
•
Tilt the folding wheelchair towards you so that one drive wheel is
unloaded.
•
Push the seat tubes apart and hold them with the flat of your hand.
Press down until it is locked in the holder on the frame (Fig. 05).

Fold down the foot plate(s) (Fig. 05).
Wrinkles
•
Position the folding wheelchair next to you.

Fold the foot plate(s) upwards (Fig. 06, Fig. 12).
•
Loosen the Velcro fastener of the back cover (under the seat).
•
If present, remove the seat cushion, then pull the seat tensioning
upwards in the middle. Then remove the tubes of the seat. Fold
together with the flat of your hand, making sure tothat these are
only pressed on the underside so that the fingers are not trapped in
the seat.

To ensure that the wheelchair is fully folded, you can additionally
push the wheelchair together as far as possible using the armrests
or the wheels. (Fig. 07).
Watch your fingers when folding and unfolding,
especially in the folding area, as there is a danger
of getting stuck.
