2. Only for heads 1 and 2:
Remove the O-rings (3/Fig. 11).
3. Insert the new valves (4/Fig. 11) in the intermediate plates
(2/Fig. 11).
4. Only for heads 1 and 2:
Insert the new O-rings (3/Fig. 11) in the intermediate
plates (2/Fig. 11).
Both sides of the valves are identical.
5. Place the head plates (5/Fig. 11) on the intermediate
plates (2/Fig. 11) according to the felt tip pen markings
(M/Fig. 8).
6. On both heads, tighten the head screw of the head plate
(6/Fig. 11) carefully, lightly and hand-tight (tightening
torque: 60 Ncm).
For the arrangement and orientation of the disk springs
and washer of the screw, see Fig. 12.
7. Place the O-rings (10/Fig. 10) and (13/Fig. 10) on the con-
nection.
8. Press heads 1 and 2 (I and II/Fig. 10) together.
Replacing the diaphragms and mounting the pump head
1. Unscrew the two diaphragms (1/Fig. 13) counterclockwise
by hand.
Make sure that the shim rings (12/Fig. 13) located be-
tween the diaphragm and the connecting rod do not fall
into the pump housing. To ensure pneumatic perfor-
mance of the pump, make sure to reinstall the exact
number of shim rings (12/Fig. 13) as removed.
