- Hold the saw with the spacing block contacting the work piece and keep the saw blade
teeth clear of the work piece.
- For starting the motor, first press the release button 1 and then the valve trigger 2 (see fig.
3).

WARNING – Always hold the band saw with both hands during cutting (two-hand machine).
The band saw weight is controlling the feed force. For hard material, the rotational speed
can be reduced by increasing the air pressure, as well as by slight contact pressure. Hold the
saw straight in the cut.

CAUTION – Stay clear of end pieces that may fall down after being cut off. When finishing a
cut, prevent the saw from slipping. The saw band must be running when exiting from a cut.
To stop the pneumatic motor, release the valve trigger.
The saw blade must be in motion before re-entering a cut.
Shut the valve before disconnecting the air hose.
Shortly actuate the valve trigger again for relieving the air pressure.
