If the calibration fails several times, it means that the batteries need to be replaced
or the position of the balance is not optimal (uneven surface, interference from
other units in the vicinity).
3.3. Working with the unit
1. Insert the batteries into the compartment according to the polarity. In the case
of the SBS-PS-1800, the chamber is located at the back of the display. Other
models have the chamber at the back of the scale.
2. Turn on the unit using the "ON/OFF" button or the "I/O" switch.
3. Press the "UNIT" button to select the unit of measurement. Press until the
desired unit appears.
4. Bring the animal onto the weighing platform so that all paws are on the
platform or place the object on the weighing platform.
5. Wait a few seconds for the reading to stabilize.
6. Remove the animal/object from the platform after weighing is complete.

A. "UNIT" button:
Press to change the weighing unit.
B. "HOLD" button:
1. Introduce the animal or place the object on the weighing platform.
2. Wait until the reading stabilizes.
3. Press the HOLD button. The display will show the "HOLD" button.
4. Remove the animal or object from the weighing platform. The reading will still
remain visible on the display.
5. Press the "UNIT" button to convert the reading value to another measurement
unit.
6. Press the "HOLD" button to return to normal operation.
