10.
FIRST START OF THE SYSTEM
Listed below are the operations to be performed for the first start-up of the system, or for its commissioning
after a long period of inactivity.
10.1 Cooling mode
1.
Open the ball valve installed on the seacock (pos. 2 in figure 6)
2.
Turn on the air conditioner switch on the boat's electrical panel.
3.
Switch on the air conditioner using the control panel (see paragraph 15.1)
4.
Set the cooling mode (see paragraph 15.3) and adjust the temperature (see paragraph 15.2) to
a value lower (at least 2 ° C) than that of the cabin indicated on the LCD display.
5.
The plant will start operating. Check that the water from the cooling circuit is drained overboard.
6.
Close the doors and doors of the air-conditioned room. After a few minutes, there will be a
significant difference between the supply and return air temperatures.
10.2 Heating mode
1.
Open the ball valve installed on the seacock (pos. 2 in figure 6).
2.
Turn on the air conditioner switch on the boat's electrical panel.
3.
Switch on the air conditioner using the control panel (see paragraph 15.1).
4.
Set the heating mode (see paragraph 15.3) and adjust the temperature (see paragraph 15.2) up
to a value higher (at least 2 ° C) than that of the cabin indicated on the LCD display.
5.
The plant will start operating. Check that the water from the cooling circuit is drained overboard.
6.
Close the doors and doors of the air-conditioned room. After a few minutes, there will be a
significant difference between the supply and return air temperatures.
