Presets
Full Span sets the span to the full frequency
range, allowing all detected signals to
be visible for the set reference level:
PSA1303: 1MHz to 1300MHz
PSA2703: 1MHz to 2700MHz
PSA3605: 10MHz to 3600MHz
PSA6005: 10MHz to 6000MHz

The normal mode of operation of
the instrument is by using the touch-
screen keys at the bottom of the display
suplemented, when required, by the
hard keys below the display. It is also
possible to use the instrument without
touching the screen at all, by using the
five 'navigator' hard keys to operate
each of the touch screen functions.

Level
The reference level represents the maximum
signal that can be displayed, the top graticule line
of the display will be set at the reference level.
This level can be set between:
PSA1303: -40dBm and +10dBm
PSA2703: -40dBm and +10dBm
PSA3605: -40dBm and +20dBm
PSA6005: -40dBm and +20dBm
(1dB resolution)
Aim-TTi - Safety Documentation & Quick Start Guide
Auto-Set performs a maximum span sweep
at the widest RBW and then sets the centre
frequency, span, RBW and level to create
a useful display of the highest amplitude
+132dBuV]
point found within the initial sweep.
+130dBuV]
SCANNING
The instrument will perform
a full span sweep at a
maximum reference level
and find the highest level
within the sweep. It will then
perform a number of sweeps
at narrower spans and,
where appropriate, lower
reference levels.
