Inform the manufacturer's service department if your
brake maintenance device still does not work properly
even after following the previous instructions. You will
receive fast and reliable assistance.
Disassembling the control unit
If, after consulting the service department, a malfunction
of the brake maintenance device is ascertained, only the
control unit needs to be sent in and the repaired or lent out
control unit reassembled.
Important:
Disassembly or assembly work may
only be carried out by a specialized electrician.

Disconnect the brake maintenance device from the
mains supply by pulling out the plug.

Disconnect all hoses from the container or vessels.

Make sure the hoses are empty. If not, close them with
plugs.

Remove the screws on the side of the control unit. In the
case of type "Perfecta 20 Plus", the device handle must
also be dismantled.

Pull hoses and mains cable out of the casing. The
control unit is now ready for dispatch.
The control unit is reassembled in reverse order.
Maintenance and servicing
• Always pull out the mains plug before working on the
brake maintenance device.
• Never clean the brake maintenance device with a
steam cleaner.
• Always keep the brake maintenance device clean.
Remove escaped brake fluid immediately
• Check the filter on the suction hose regularly and
replace where necessary (only devices of the "Plus"
series).
Warranty and liability
Our "General Conditions of Sales and Delivery" strictly
apply. These have been available to the operator since
conclusion of the contract. Warranty or liability claims in
the event of damage to persons or property are excluded if
they are caused by one of the following:
• Improper use.
• Improper initial operation, operation and servicing of
the brake maintenance device.
• Non-compliance with the instructions in the operating
manual with regard to initial operation, operation and
maintenance.
• Unauthorized modifications to the brake maintenance
device.
• Improper repair work.
• Disasters caused by foreign material impacts and force
majeure.
We cannot bear the costs for servicing requirements and
the costs for sending items back caused by the non-
compliance of the points listed. For this reason, please
contact the manufacturer before sending anything back.
Waste management
Consider environmental compatibility, health risks, waste
management guidelines and your local possibilities for
proper disposal.
• Remove all hoses from the container or vessels.
• Make sure the hoses are empty.
• Dismantle the brake maintenance device into the
individual components (hoses, metal, electrical parts).
• Recycle the individual materials in an environmentally
friendly manner.
